Yeah!

I reached my David and Goliath word count goal of 15,500 words this month!

I'm well into Chapter 2 of All Night Long.

I just posted my Read-a-thon book review. I'm keeping up with it, I'm glad to say.

I sent in the pips and introduction to the RPG class.

And I am gearing up today to begin the challenges of next month, both personal and writing.

Hurry Up and Write

I wrote 3 pages last night and 2 pages so far this morning on All Night Long. I just need 5 more pages before the end of the day Saturday to reach my David and Goliath word count goal for this month.

I'm well into Chapter 2 of All Night Long. It is flowing quickly, which is always nice.

UGH!

Due to personal chaos yesterday, I was unable to get any writing done.  Now I am 4 pages down again on the word goals for this month.

I have been scheduling my writing for next month and this is what I have on my plate so far:

August Polish Week (completely finish revisions on Complimentary Murder)
Read-a-thon (one book a week)
Writer's Idol (one story a week until I get voted out)
RPG Class (write a class about once a week)
David and Goliath Word Count Challenge (only 100 words a day this time, because of personal commitments this month)

I also have a personal goal to submit the completed Complimentary Murder to agents and really work to complete as much on Psionics Institutes as possible.

Catching Up

I am almost caught up on my word count goal for the month.  I am short only 2 pages.

The RPG class was approved and I need to get back with them on that.

I have just a little bit more to write and I'll be done with chapter 1 of All Night Long.

Catching Up

Now I am only 3 pages behind on my monthly word count goal.

Whoopiieee!

Getting It Done

I wrote the first class post for the Evolution RPG class and sent it to the moderators.

I've also written more on the first chapter of All Night Long, and I am 1 1/2 pages short of the marker for the end of the chapter. I divided the notebook I am using into 10 equal sections of 22 pages each. That'll give me 55,000 words exactly. The dividers are not written in stone, just there to give me guidelines.

New Chapter Typed

I got the new chapter of Complimentary Murder typed and printed.  Unfortunately, my plans for today have been buggered by an unexpected co-worker taking up my office to put in extra hours.  Mondays are supposed to be my free days.

Weekend Progress

I managed to cut in half my deficit for the David and Goliath word count challenge. I went from being 11 pages behind to 7. I worked on the romance novel All Night Long yesterday to do it. I've been itching to work on it, so I let myself and that is how I cranked out so many pages.

I'm typing up my new chapter for Complimentary Murder this morning and checking my word count.

Then I am going to work up the first post for the Evolution RPG class and check into the next section I need for Psionics Institutes.

Later I'd like to finish chapter 1 of All Night Long. Once Chapter 1 is done, I'm going to set it aside again until Complimentary Murder is done and I have the first section of Psionics Institutes done. At least, that is my plan.

Making Goals

I made my word count goals for yesterday and today.  I wrote a few pages on chapter 1 of the romance novel All Night Long.  This a backburner project, but it is the easiest (right now) for me to write and rack up some high word counts.  Once I get off the computer I am going to try and catch up on the 11 pages I am behind this month on the David and Goliath word count challenge.

Tomorrow, I am planning to finish typing the new chapter for Complimentary Murder so I can finish revising it through the mid-point of the book before the end of this month.  I know I am not going to reach my goal for Psionics Institutes this month, but I have covered some ground on it and the month is not over yet.

Next month the guidelines for Aspen's Short film festival will be posted and I can look into getting Levitiation submitted there.

I have been keeping up with my reading for the read-a-thon Challenge, and I have committed to write a class series on RPG writing for Evolution.  Not to mention I need to work on completing 2 more scripts and send resumes and queries to managers and agents.

My plate is definately full.  I hope to have a personal problem (dealing with my husband's ex-wife) settled next month, which will help me to focus more fully on my writing.
