RPG Weekend

With household chores complete, and one last check on Inktip (nothing new), I am now ready to dive into my two RPG projects.

So far I have identified the chapters of "A Tangled Web" that do not need changes. I am going to seperate the ones that need minor changes from the major ones, and do the minor ones first.

Then I update Rogue on my progress and submit the new chapters.

After that I will crank out the new proposal for Traveller.

I'd like to get this far by the end of this weekend.

Then get onto the major revisions for "A Tangled Web" and finish everything I need to do to shoot Levitation next week, including setting the shooting dates.

So Far

Inktip.com says that so far:

3 people have viewed the logline for Remember Me

1 person viewed the synopsis

0 people have downloaded the script.

I'm working on a new synopsis.

POSTED!

I just posted my script "Remember Me" on Inktip.com. It will be listed there for 6 months.

I can check the viewing activity to see who and how often industry professionals look at my stuff.

I'm going to go nuts checking it ever five minutes, I know. That, and checking my e-mail for nice fat offers!

Now, time to get back to work on "A Tangled Web" and "Traveller".

A Little More Work

I finally found the nugget of info I was looking for. I do have to format the script "Remember Me" before submitting it to inktip. Not a problem. I just need to add page numbers and a cover sheet at this point. I just hate numbering pages and then everytime I make a change I have to renumber them again and again.

Anyway, that is work to do at home. While I am at the office I will use my breaks to review the first few chapters of "A Tangled Web". I'm going to 'hit it hard' this weekend and see how much I can get done.

I downloaded and read the notes from the editor of Traveller. I think his changes are very do-able. He wants to break the outline down from one great big source book into 2-3 shorter ones. Very cool! Instead of one publishing credit, I get 2 or 3 for the same amount of work.

Almost Done

I have set up my 'resume' on Inktip.com and checked how to post the script. I have my logline, but I need the synopsis before I can post it.

I registered "Remember Me" with WGA, so that is done.

I hope to have it all up and ready this evening. I was very pleased with my script when I reviewed it yesterday. I made a handful of minor changes, mainly correcting small errors. I will be deeply surprised and disappointed if it doesn't generate some interest.

No More Fooling Around

Alright, no more goofing off. I just got an e-mail about the revisions for Gurps Traveller: Psionics Institutes, so I need to get on the ball.

I have with me the print out of "Remember Me", which I am going to go over at lunch and this evening.

I want to have "A Tangled Web" read over by this weekend and an outline of a plan of attack on it.

Tomorrow I'll print out the Traveller notes and get a handle on it.

DA-TA-DA! CHARGE!

Print Out

I printed out a clean copy of "Remember Me". I am going to give it a once over before sending it in to Inktip.com

I had trouble printing out a copy of "A Tangled Web" I spent most of yesterday trying to coax it off the corrupted disks. I got most of it saved to a new disk, and the couple chapters I could not get, I have original print outs for. Mainly, it looks like one chapter will get a major overhaul, with some information morphing into a chapter about a new location. I also need a new outcome chapter. Other than that, most of the information will be staying the same.

I also had trouble printing out a copy of "PSI Emergency". I finally got all but 1 chapter from the corrupted disks. I have the worst luck with 3 1/2 inch floppies!

Movies and Games

I FINALLY found my disks with the saved "A Tangled Web" files. I'll be able to print out a clean copy tomorrow, as long as the disks didn't become corrupted. Once printed I can finally work on the revisions.

Still no word for Steve Jackson Games, so I am not worrying about the Traveller project right now.

I am printing out a clean copy of "Remember Me" and giving it a once over. If I am satisfied, then I'll submit a copy to the WGA to get copyrighted and then upload the script at Inktip.com. They will post it for 6 months and we'll see what happens with that.

I'm about as ready as I can be to shoot "Levitation". I am going to buy a few more things, like a green sheet for green screens, the software for music composing. a table cloth, a microphone and the tripod.

I am putting together a "How-to" video about how to read tarot cards, which I will try to sell. If I can show I can make money on that video, then I can convince my husband to let me buy, instead of rent, a video camera.
