Submitted Story

I submitted my story "Back on the Horse" to the Hot Mamas anthology last night. My cover letter wasn't very impressive, but I couldn't write well with my husband standing over me chattering away.

I also managed about 600 words on "Deep Space". I was going to try and get it done by the 15th for another anthology, but with school work what it is, I don't think I'm going to try. Whenever I get it done, I'll just send it to one of the e-publishers I have on my list.

Finished My Story

I finished my short story, formerly titled "Riding Dennis", but I've renamed it "Back on the Horse". It was just shy of 3000 words. I'm going to be sending it in to the anthology Hot Mama later this week.

School starts today, and I'm not sure when I'll be able to focus on writing again.

Add Another 500 Words

I managed another 500 words on my current short story, "Riding Dennis". I am hoping to have it done and turned in by the 15th for the Hot Mamas anthology.

I don't know why, but I've always wanted to get published in anthologies. I have at least one more anthology submission I am hoping to send in this month, and two more with deadlines this month and next month that I may try to submit to if time and school permits.
