Disappointed

I was expecting to be well underway with the Traveller book by now, but I am still waiting for a reply from the editor. I don't want to be pushy, but he did say he'd send an e-mail the week after Thanksgiving. If I have not heard from him by the new year, I will send a follow-up e-mail.

Debating

Even though I have "Who Left the Body in the Garden?" as a work in progress, I am not in love with the idea. I'm debating about scrapping that outline and going with a scifi story for In Audio instead.

I have a lot of things submitted right now, and it is getting frustrating waiting for someone to reply.

I'm having a ball doing the Traveller's Log, though. It is nice to do something without fear that it may get rejected. The characters in that world are running around doing their own thing, and not following my outline at all. It is fun to see where they lead.

Another Submission

Last night I submitted a short story called "Message in a Particle" to Scifi Audio yesterday, via e-mail.

Bit By Bit

I edited the Scifi Audio story a bit. It needs one more going over before I send it.

I outlined the novella for In Audio. It is fairly decent, but it has not got me really enthusiastic.

I wrote the pre-chapter intro for Chapter One of a novel I am toying around with for Invisible College Press, which specializes novels about conspiracies and aliens and such.

Submission in the Mail

My audio sample submission went out in yesterday's mail.

I have to do revisions on the SciFi Audio story so It can get submitted as well.

Then the rest of today is devoted to working on the outline for the novella for In Audio.

I may add an entry to the Traveller's Log as well. It is written through the 20th of Dec, but I don't want to let that date creep up on me.

Ah Ha...

I have my next project in mind finally. I've been racking my brains for a novella for In Audio, and I have one at last. I am not to sure they will accept it, since they mainly go with classics. However, if they do like it I think I could make a long running series from the idea.

Of course, that is just what I will work on until (or unless) one of my submitted proposals produce a positive relpy.

Current Situation

The Blogger was down most of today, which made it impossible to timely update the Traveller's Log, but it is finally working and the log is updated.

In my usual rash way, I have rushed forward on something. I have prepared a demo disk for INAUDIO as an application to do narrator work for them. I did so much audio work for Mystery Radio Net that I only had to pick a few samples from that body of work to send. I enjoyed making the programs for MRN, and I believe I would enjoy working for INAUDIO as well.

I'm hammering out an outline for a short novella to also send to INAUDIO.
