A Tangled Web... Off the back burner

I just heard back from Rogue and "A Tangled Web" is off the backburner. It needs some rewrites and some rethinking. I'll need to get out my notes and read it again before I work on it.

Monthly Goals

I didn't make my March goals. Partly from laziness and partly because of the flu and time constraints.

I will have nearly a week in the middle of April, which I plan to use to write April's screenplay, which will be based on my unpublished novel "PSI Emergency", although that won't be the title.

I will try to finish writing "War Paint" this week. I'm on page 46. And I will try to type it next week. I am going to finish the flying rig this weekend. I need to get software and start practicing with it for "Levitation".

Making Decent Time

I reached page 40 on the script of "War Paint". About 50 pages to go.

I checked out the website for Alliance Filmworks, and was glad I did. They have a 'screenwriting course' I hadn't noticed before, mainly about how they want scripts formated. I'll be sure to go over the script "Remember Me" with those notes in hand if they ask for it.

My First Interview!

I just got an e-mail from my publisher at Rogue Publishing and someone from Fudge Factor is interested in interviewing all of us who wrote Fudge games for Rogue. How cool is that? I'm not sure I'm in a place to discuss much about the 'direction and future' of Fudge, but still it is cool.

Progress

Pumped up by the partial e-mail I received yesterday, I wrote like crazy on the "War Paint" script. I'm on page 32. I want 90-100 pages at least.

I'm going to be freaking out today and the next few days while I wait for a reply from Alliance Filmworks. I hope he gets right back to me.

ACK!!!

I just got an e-mail back from Alliance Filmworks, a respectable production company, to a query I sent them about my romantic comedy script called "Remember Me".

All it said was...

Amanda,

Please reply to this email with a

...That's all the message said! I guess the rest was lost. I sent a reply explaining to him that the message didn't come through and asked him to resend it.

I hope, I hope, I hope he wants to see the script!

Ack! I'm a nervous wreck!

End Of The Month Dash

To complete the script for this month I need to whip out the rest of "War Paint" in the next few days. I got to page 23 yesterday. I'm aiming for 90-100 pages.
