Visions and Revision
First the revisions: I've been addressing the comments made by FUDGE creator Scott Larson about Dead Sea Murder. The revisions are not as bad as I first feared and are going very well. I made half the changes just tonight. I hope (hope, hope, hope) to get them all done this week.
I got to see the sketch for the cover art. So cool! It looks like a movie poster! Tee-hee!
As for the Visions: First of all, after some time away, I think I know what the block on my PSI Emergency novel is. I won't be able to try out the change for a few days though. If I could break through to the next big action sequence I think I can make it through the rest of the book.
I found a comment on Avalon book's website from one of their authors who said that it took her a year to hear back on her first book, so now I don't feel so bad. If I have to wait a year, though, I won't hear from them until November!
I transformed my short story "Mark of the Beast" into a screenplay called "Life Without End". I don't know if I will do anything with it, but it was an interesting experience.
Finally... I was visiting
White Wolf's website and considering the possibility of writing gaming material or (better yet) novels for them. I'd need to research that some more before contacting them. I'm hoping my RPG writing experience with JTAS and Rogue Publishing will get my foot in the door. I'm also hoping that getting novels publishing with White Wolf will open the door for future novels with other publishers.
