Ups and Downs

The up? I got some editing software for Levitation and I am eager to test it out.

The down? Mania, who I thought had disregarded my query because they were not considering new submissions, sent me an e-mail saying the project wasn't for them. Poop!

That Was Quick

I just heard back from Mania already. Their e-mail said they are not accepting any new submissions at this time.

Bummer!

War Paint

Even though I still have some work to do on "War Paint", I sent a query to Mania Media Productions anyway. Response time tend to be so long, it shouldn't make a difference.

More E-mails

I e-mailed Rogue Publishing with some notes and suggestions for the changes to "A Tangled Web".

I e-mailed Nite Owl Productions a query about "Remember Me".

I've also been e-mailing my father about my production of "Levitation." I have located some software that I might be able to use for editing the film and I needed to know if it would work on my computer, and it will.

Speaking of Levitation, I have a list of all the hardware and software I need to complete everything from editing to burning it to DVD, so once I get all those things, I will be in good shape to start rehersals and start shooting.

Day Of Submissions

Mondays are my 'day of submissions'. I am eager to sell a script (or two, or three) and since scripts can be submitted to multiple places, I've made Monday my day to find good homes for my scripts.

So far this morning I have sent an e-mail query to 3AM Pictures about "Remember Me".

I have a few more places lined up to send queries to, and I am going to review my list of production companies and start making notes about what kinds of films they are looking for.

I am on page 63 of "War Paint". I am making progress, so I don't feel too bad about missing my self-imposed deadline. I'm writing it out long hand, so I still have to type it, and that often stretches the page count as well.

I also have to contact Rogue Publishing and let her know I am reviewing her suggestions.

And I'd like to hit Traveller's Log and finish up this 'chapter'.

Whew!
