Ready...Set...

The Pariah outline is nearly done. I will work on the introduction, sample chapter and back page 'blurb' through the end of the week and over the weekend. I hope to have it submitted on Monday.

Pariah Thumbs-up

Rogue Publishing has permission to produce adventures for Pariah. I have the green light to send in a proposal, which I will now work on.

I'll also be doing my final read through (at least start it) on Complimentary Murder. It should be fine, but I just want to double check.

Query worries

I dropped the query about Complimentary Murder in the mail to an agent. I still have not heard back about the Pariah adventure for Rogue Publishing. I've decided to thank Steve Jackson Games for their consideration but since they already have a proposal they are happy with, I'll just bow out.

I've added links to the side of this page to the Current Work in Progress page and the In Submission page. I keep them updated.

Can't win for losing

Steve Jackson Games replied to my query already. Although they will look at my proposal, they already had an excellent one by one of their regular writers and the odds are against me. Should I even bother to do the proposal now? Poop. This was the only one on their 'wishlist' that interested me.

Maybe this is a sign I should be working more on the novels.

GURPS: Faerie

I took a deep breath and hit the send button. The query letter is e-mailed into the internet ether on its way to the line editor at Steve Jackson Games.

Now just to wait...

Crap

The new issue of Journal of the Traveller's Aid Society has an article about vermin about starships. I just sent in a similiar one, which I bet now will be rejected. Crap.

Oh, well.

scribble, scribble, scribble

Making a flurry of tiny note papers with jotted facts for the Faeries suppliment.

I also decided not to change the query letter. I tend to over edit things when I'm nervous and it just keeps me from dropping it in the mail and taking my chances. I'll mail it in the morning.

Back to work

I finished Chapter 28 of PSI Emergency. A very short chapter indeed, only 3 pages. Still, it was enough to reach the 5/8th mark of the total word count goal.

I'm going to tweak the Complimentary Murder query letter and print the final version then finish the research notes for the GURPS: Faerie proposal.

Dead Sea Murder sales

I got an e-mail from the publisher of Dead Sea Murder. In the first couple days there have already been sales, which is really good because most on-line game stores have not yet listed it.

We are also discussing the possibility of doing an adventure for Pariah, another FUDGE based roleplaying game involving psychics.
