Gaming Book Progress

I have not heard back from Steve Jackson Games about my Traveller book "Psionics Institutes". I submitted the completed manuscript November 1st of last year. I sent 2 follow-up e-mails in Feb, but neither received a reply.

On their website, they have at least put up a e-book store. It appears they are in the process of converting all their old material into e-books, which could take some time.

Their writer's wish list page is completely empty. This is not a good sign. It used to be filled with a couple dozen items for which they were accepting proposals and submissions.

I did receive a royalty check at the beginning of this year from Rogue Publishing for copies of Dead Sea Murder that sold over the past year. They have not gotten back to me on the status of A Tangled Web, and I am loathed to inquire about it. The last two times I asked about it I was given long lists of changes to make, which I did and sent in, but then again would hear nothing back. As for their website, it appears as if nothing new has been added to their list in over a year, so I get the feeling they are on hiatus.

I have toyed with the idea of making my own gaming company and writing for myself. I am not too confident in the makeplace at the moment, though. There are a boatload of small gaming publishing companies out there. Plus, at the moment I am committed to Wind Chime Media and the video projects.
